FAQ

  • How deep do you grind the stump?

6”-8” below grade is typical, but can offer deep grind to 16”

  • Do you remove the resulting mulch?

Not necessarily. It's possible that a section of your roof is loose, or that damage occured in one place only. We'll conduct a thorough investigation before suggesting repair options.

  • Will the machinery tear up my lawn?

No. We use tracked machinery with specially designed turf tracks to minimize any lawn damage.

  • Will the stump grinder fit through my gate?

The machine can fit through a 36” gate.

  • How much does it cost to grind one stump?

A generic price per stump cannot be given due to varying sizes, species, and terrain that all affect the process.

  • Do you guarantee your work?

Absolutely! As this process is quite dirty, sometimes a piece of stump or root can easily become obscured during the grinding process. Although rare, if this does occur and the customer becomes aware of it at anytime, Salyers Stump Grinding is always just a call or text away.
